More about Scott Blair:
Hello, my name is Scott Blair. Thank you for visiting The Blair Firm, Inc., P.S., Inc., P.S. website. You're probably here because you want to find out a little about us to see whether you want to take the next step and talk to us about your case. I think that’s a great idea, because when you hire a lawyer, it's imperative that you find someone you are comfortable working closely with on your case. You should also feel safe and confident that you have an advocate that knows the area of law relevant to your case. This is important, because now days the practice of law is much like the practice of medicine in that if you have a specific medical problem, you go to a doctor with expertise in that area rather than a generalist who only occasionally dabbles in that field. That only makes sense. The same should be true when hiring a lawyer.
Let me tell you about myself so you can be satisfied that I pass the above test for hiring a lawyer. First, the non-legal part of my life: I have been married for the past 25 years to my wife Victoria, and we have three sons and a daughter. I have been very active in my kids' lives over the years, coaching my son's baseball and basketball teams, and serving as the vice president and the president of our local little league.
As for my legal background, I have been practicing law for over 27 years, even though it seems like less than that. I believe the reason for that is I love what I do. My first four years in practice were spent as a prosecutor for The City of Seattle. I spent nearly every day in court doing jury trials prosecuting drunk drivers and other criminal traffic offenders, and in the process I saw a lot of victims of bad driving. As time went by, I realized that putting the bad guys in jail didn't really help the victims of the bad drivers in the long run. They needed more to help put their lives back together.
I then started my own firm in 1987. After the first three years, I was able to narrow the scope of my practice down to representing only injured people and helping them put their lives back together after a traumatic injury. Since then, for the past 20 years I have exclusively represented plaintiffs in hundreds and hundreds of cases who have been victimized by the negligence of others and their insurance carriers. The cases have run the full spectrum from major, catastrophic injuries and wrongful death cases, to minor soft tissue injury cases. One area near and dear to my heart is going after drunk drivers and the bars that over serve them where poor choices result in terrible injuries to my clients. We have done very well on our client's cases over the years for one simple reason-we really enjoy helping our clients, and we would be honored to help you as well.
I believe after you meet with myself and any of our incredible paralegals and support staff, you will agree it makes sense to have an advocate at your side in this process that understands what the other side is up to and how to protect you. Then, you can put the stress of dealing with insurance companies on your own behind you and get on with the healing process and getting your life back on track. I look forward to hearing from you.
